So you are worried about what you put on your face, but I'm not sure how to read labels. Distinguish between synthetic and natural ingredients, it can sometimes feel like you need a degree in Chemistry. Do not worry, we will help to cover the three quick tips for you on your way to be "read, write and label." We want to remember, this list is not intended to be exhaustive, only a starting point to learn more, read the labels.

1) Can you say? Allthe names of the ingredients are listed in official INCI (International Nomenclature cosmetic ingredient) form. And if you're like me, spent most of the time in chemistry class, or which has been flirting with your lab partner, who would not be able to list the ingredients, if your life depended on interpretation. Most natural skin care companies use the name of all days (if any) in parentheses after the formal name.

2) If the product list "fragrance" asIngredient? There are many gaps around scent in the name of trade secrets, and more often these scents are not natural. To be safe, avoid products that are listed as a fragrance ingredient.

3) There is a USDA Organic seal on it? Now, this may be difficult. All natural products are not necessarily but if the USDA Organic USDA Organic seal, you can be sure, certainly. An advantage in learning to read labels is not based on these stamps.Many small producers can not afford certification but are still quite safe and effective supply of natural products.
